Comfort!!!

It’s amazing that we feel God has forgotten us sometimes, especially when we go through struggles, hardships, trials or temptations.
God knows: how many hairs we have on our heads, when a leaf as unimportant as it seems falls to the ground and he also knows when a tiny little bird drops dead. Mathew 10:30 If he knows all these little details, how much more about you and I that were created in his very image and likeness.
Isaiah 49:15 “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”It may seem cloudy, like walking through a thick forest with no marked paths or probably like we are surrounded with gross darkness. At these points when we do not know what to do or where to go, it is very soothing to remember what  proverbs 4:18 says “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” Today might not be great and tomorrow might not be certain but just keep going, God has got you.

Jeremiah 29:11 for I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Psalm 103:17 but from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him and his righteousness with their children's children. If his love is forever, we should never doubt, even for a moment that we are loved so deeply and dearly by God.

His love for us makes us conquer all things and nothing can separate us from that love God has for us, even at our darkest moments. Oh! If only we knew how much. I doubt this kind of love is something we can easily grasp. It is never ending, so high, so deep, so wide and so powerful! Romans 8:37-39

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Oh! If we only knew a little bit of how much He loved us, we would like David say  yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 this love is over whelming.

Even in the worst of situations-loss of a loved one, financial difficulties, emotional traumas, academic struggles and any other shadow of death, fixing our eyes on Jesus and His love for us would be more than enough to sustain us.

True love is proven by sacrifice. You cannot be sure of just how much someone loves you until you have seen the sacrifice made by the person to have you. There’s no doubt in God’s love for us because He has already given His precious son. What then can’t he give us when we ask? Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Isn’t it very easy to be kind to a person who is kind to us and dislike a person who dislikes us? So also, it’s easy to love one who first loved us.  1 john 4:19 We love because he first loved us

Lastly, all things, every single darn thing (even though it might not look like it) works together for the good of those who love God. Romans 8:28

Probably, it  ”seems” like everything is working against you, “seems” like nothing is going right and like everything has failed. Against all hope, choose to believe in hope, in the love Christ has for you and like Peter, walk on water with your heart steadfast on Jesus.

Rest in His unchanging love

God bless you!!!
